GLOBAL ACTION
We encourage employees globally to support environmental causes of their choice and urge them to pursue efforts to improve the quality of life in their communities. Some employees at Biotech, Inc. have adopted environmentally sound practices within the workplace. Employees pursue these efforts independently and through local committees, which enable them to become involved and implement sustainable practices within their Biotech, Inc. worksite.
GLOBAL RECYCLING
We encourage employees to pursue recycling initiatives whenever feasible. Biotech, Inc. offices around the world have ongoing activities to reduce, reuse and recycle. Some offices recycle paper, glass and plastic. We have installed automated timers for lighting and some water-saving systems, use recycled sharps containers, and have secure-print and automatic double-sided printing. These programs have a wide-ranging positive environmental impact on our natural resources, reduce pollution, decrease landfill use and save trees, electricity and water.
